House Lockout
Standard residential lockouts take 5 to 15 minutes once the technician is on-scene. We work on Kwikset, Schlage, Baldwin, Yale, Weiser, Defiant, and every other consumer brand common in Arizona homes. High-security cylinders (Medeco, Mul-T-Lock, Abloy) take longer and sometimes require different techniques — mention the brand when you call so dispatch sends the right van. If you rent, we'll ask for ID and something showing the address (a utility bill or lease photo will do); this protects both you and your landlord.

During a rekey, we pull the cylinder from each lock, replace the internal pin stack with new pins keyed to a fresh cut, and reinstall. Every rekeyed lock in the house can be set to the same new key (one-key convenience), or split into groups (front and back on one key, garage side-door on another). Every old key immediately stops working. We can also verify each deadbolt and knob is properly aligned, tighten loose strikes, and flag any lock that's too worn to hold a rekey reliably — in those rare cases a lock change is the honest recommendation, not a rekey we don't trust.

During a lock change we remove the existing hardware, inspect the door prep and strike alignment (misalignment is a top cause of premature lock failure in Phoenix — doors move seasonally), install the new lock, and pin it to your desired key. If your door prep is nonstandard we'll say so before drilling anything — we don't make you buy a repair you didn't ask for.
